I do have qualms with the park’s premise and certain lands but there are some brilliant areas throughout and a great ambiance. That isn’t to say California Adventure is a bad theme park. Planning out your first hour or two is essential because that’s when you’ll get the most done, especially on a busy day, but California Adventure lends itself to ‘winging it’ a little more than other parks. At both Mater's Junkyard Jamboree square dance with baby tractors and Luigi's Rollickin' Roadsters, where Luigi and his cousins perform Italian dances, guests sit in cars that spin and move to music to create choreographed scenes.
